Hey, I’m
Emily Reschke
Actor/Dancer/Choreographer

About Me
The words of Shakespeare describe Emily best: “and though she be but little, she is fierce.” This 5’2” Detroit based actor, dancer, choreographer, singer, and combatant defies expectation of strength and power. Growing up in a military family, playing hockey with her brother, and ballet dancing quickly showed her what it takes to be "fierce ". While she started as a classical ballet dancer, her performing roots have grown to all aspects of storytelling. Since attending Oakland University for her BFA in acting and a minor in dance, she has discovered her love for on-camera acting with Mila Govich, stage combat with Tony Guest, choreography with Alison Woerner, and stage management with Ellen Peck. Her acting credits of the rebellious princess Antigone in Burial at Thebes and the mysteriously resilient wife Maria in the Agony of Ecstasy exemplify her fervent tenacity. Her work as fight choreographer/captain of She Kills Monsters and as choreographer of Matilda exemplifies her fighting spirit. In her free time she loves to box, snowboard, horseback riding, and travel the world! Whether she’s dancing her heart out or throwing punches to a 100 pound heavyweight bag, she does so with passion and grace.
